The Speech and Language Pathologist in Early Intervention works with children birth to 3 years of age and their families in the family home or other community setting such as daycare centers. The Speech and Language Pathologist provides assessment, treatment planning, and direct services to the children and families. The Speech and Language Pathologist works with the family to create an Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) based on the families? concerns and desired goals for their child and then works collaboratively and creatively to help the child meet those goals. Your experience, knowledge and great skills will support the Early Intervention program with the following: Providing in home and community outreach services to children and families. Maintaining documentation of activities with and for the children and families including well written reports of developmental assessments, notes of all services provided to the child and families. Providing play-based services with children on the floor, in playgrounds, and other places where children play in their natural environment. Working collaboratively with other EI team members to complete Developmental Assessment such as Battelle Developmental Inventory. Providing discipline Specific Assessments. Who are we? What are we looking for in a Speech and Language Pathologist? Master\'s Degree in Speech and Language Pathology required. Licensed Speech and Language Pathologist in Massachusetts. Valid Driver\'s License, safe driving record, and vehicle available for all working hours.
