As the only Level 1 Trauma Center in western MA, and the largest providcer of tertiary care, our ED receives of 130,000 patient visits per year. Our emergency department has 65 private patients rooms, 3 adult care areas and a dedicated behavioral health suite which includes 9 private treatment rooms. Our Pediatric Emergency department has its own triage and waiting area and 18 private rooms for children and families. Our nurses have the opportunity to work in all areas; adult, pedi and behavioral health.
We are seeking experienced RNs with at least two years of medical/surgical/urgent care RN experience, current MA Licensure, Current BLS and current Telemetry experience. You will be responsible for:
The provision of nursing care to assigned patients in accordance with current BH Standards of Care.
Administering and monitoring patient response to therapeutic interventions.
Demonstrating knowledge and application of the nursing process as it relates to patients and families.
Collaborating with health team members, patients/families in the provision of care.
Delegating and providing direct supervision to other health team members as appropriate in the implementation of the patient care plan.
Acting as an advocate for patients/families/significant others.
Practicing within accepted ethical and legal parameters of nursing.
What will you need?
Successfully passed Board of Registration in Nursing Examination and is licensed in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Current Health Care Provider CPR certification required.
Experience: Minimum 1 years medical/surgical/urgent care RN experience.
Education: ASN Required. BSN preferred.
Telemetry experience preferred.
ACLS and PALS preferred.
