As an Ambulatory Nurse in the Palmer Specialty Practice at Baystate Wing Hospital, your essential functions include;

  • Provides direct and indirect patient care in the ambulatory clinic setting

  • Provides care that reflects intiative, flexibility and responsibility indicative of professional expectation with a minimum of supervision

  • Determines priorities of care based on physical and psychosocial needs, as well as factors influencing patient flow through the system

  • Communicates with clinic providers about changes in patient's status, symptomology and results of diagnostic studies

  • Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment

What you will need?

  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing

  • Current Massachusetts RN License

  • Healthcare Provider CPR Certification

  • Previous experience in an ambulatory care setting

  • Endocrine specialty preferred

  • Proficient computer skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills

Position located at Baystate Wing Hospital, Palmer, MA

Full-time/40 Hours per Week, Monday through Friday
