About Tanglewood In 1940, the Berkshire Music Center (now the Tanglewood Music Center) began its operations. About the role The Environmental Services Assistant performs various cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing various surfaces such as floors, walls, and bathrooms. Additionally, responsibilities include changing linens, making beds, and ensuring high presentation standards for cottages and houses, while also reporting maintenance issues to Tanglewood Facilities. Job Responsibilities: - Sweep, vacuum, wash, mop, finish and clean: floors, surfaces, walls, ceilings, or other surfaces as required. - Change linens, make beds, provide routine housekeeping services to Seranak cottages, Main Gate House, Stucco House, and other spaces, as needed. - Report all maintenance problems of situations to Tanglewood Facilities - Clean and sanitize washrooms, toilets, tubs/showers and bathroom facilities. - Maintain high standards of presentation for cottages, houses. - Any other duties as requested by supervisors or members of the Tanglewood facilities Staff.
