GREENFIELD Behavioral Health Network is currently seeking a Registered Nurse for a new start-up program for inpatient level of care for Detoxification Services in Greenfield, MA. This program is a new start-up program for inpatient level of care for Detoxification Services in Greenfield, MA. It is a 24 hr/7 day a week program including a 24 hr/7 day inpatient clinical stabilization step down unit and is hiring for multiple positions to staff these new programs. Job Requirements: " Performs a thorough and complete assessment within established time standards. " Documents initial and ongoing assessment data. " Initiates the plan of care within established time standards. " Communicates plan of care and collaborates with members of the health care team during daily case conference, and other times, as appropriate. " Plans care and collaborates with peers; which results in improvement in individual's care and teamwork. " Prioritizes and coordinates individual care as indicated by changes in individual presentation. " Provides individualized individual /family education as identified in the plan of care. " Organizes, prioritizes and coordinates individual care and unit activities. " Documents interventions and communicates individual progress to members of the health care team. " Evaluates, interprets, and documents the effectiveness of the plan of care. " Utilizes ongoing assessment data to revise/modify the plan of care and communicates changes with members of the health care team. " Participates with members of the health care team in problem solving individual and/or staff related conflicts. " Provides nursing care with kindness and sensitivity in a manner that preserves and protects individual's autonomy, dignity and rights. " Maintains current licensure and certifications. Job Knowledge: o Demonstrates proficiency in applying the nursing process to individuals and families. o Ability to collaborate with other care givers. o Ability to delegate to peers and other care givers consistent with their level of expertise. o Ability to understand, empathize and work with an addicted population, including those with co-occurring disorders. o Knowledge of quality assurance standards and CARF standards. o Ability to advocate for clients. o Working knowledge of ethics and legal parameters of working with substance abuse clients. Schooling or Equivalent: o Bachelor's or Associate's Degree preferred or Diploma/ Degree in Nursing. Experience and Training: o Current Nursing License by the Massachusetts Board of Registration. o Minimum of one year nursing experience preferred.
