We are currently seeking a dedicated Radiology Tech to join our team at Falmouth Hospital SUMMARY Under the direction of the Manager of Diagnostic Imaging, performs radiologic procedures. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Performs radiologic procedures. Educates patients. Educates students. Cross-trains. Responsible for film quality/QA. Writes Hx on patient requisitions. Develops films and performs related darkroom activities. Performs routine clerical work when necessary. Interacts with patients (interpersonal skills.) Patient care skills. Performs other duties as required or assigned. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must read and write English. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Radiologic Technologist (Massachusetts License) required. Basic Life Support Certification. ARRT within 6 months of hire. FHS11R - EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. ARRT MA License, ARRT in second modality, BLS. Note: Mammography requires ARRT and MA License. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Massachusetts license required. A.R.R.T. FHS11BR - EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Associate's degree (A. S.) or equivalent from two-year college or certificate program. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Massachusetts license required. Three registries required. AART MA License, ARRT in mammography, ARRT in Angiography or CAT scan. BLS, Proficiency with IV skills. Note Mammography requires ARRT and MA License.
