Lahey Health Registered Nurse Per Diem, Cardiac Rehab in Danvers, Massachusetts
Assumes responsibility to lead the team in providing quality patient care. Demonstrates a commitment to evidence-based practice and performs in accordance with the philosophy, established policies, procedures and standards of the Nursing Division and Hospital. Assess, plans, implements and evaluates patient care from admission to discharge. Is responsible to direct, assign, and supervise ancillary staff team members in providing the appropriate level of care in the most efficient manner. Acts as a role model to staff members. Performs all modes of Cardiopulmonary rehabilitation and coordinates individual patient care programs. Responsible for patient assessments, monitoring, exercise sessions and patient teaching. Requires frequent interaction and consultation with other disciplines, patients and their families, and the medical staff. The age category served is primarily adults. The essential functions of this position are denoted by criteria with weights equal to or greater than two. Criteria with weights less than two are considered marginal functions for this position. Qualifications Education/Experience:
BSN preferred nurse with at least three years of clinical experience in a telemetry setting and/or cardiopulmonary rehabilitation program.
Qualified candidates will be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and a current Massachusetts Registered Nurse licenser. BLS & ACLS required. Scheduled Hours Per diem, hours assigned as needed, 10 hour shifts. Every other weekend required.
