This Senor Quality Improvement Practice Consultant will be responsible for:

  • Providing consultation, education and professional support throughout the PPOC network of practices and other on-site and off-site venues.

  • Educating and advising on methods, tools and techniques for monitoring and assessing quality of care.

  • Providing support for implementation and evaluation of PPOC (Pediatric Physicians' Organization at Children's) and CHICO (Children’s Hospital Integrated Care Organization) quality improvement programs and serving as project manager for designated programs/projects.

  • Building and strengthening relationships between the Hospital, PO and PPOC member physicians to strengthen clinical programs and coordinate the delivery of high-quality patient care across the continuum of care.

To qualify, you must have:

  • The knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts typically acquired through completion of a Bachelor’s degree in business, health administration, or a related field and three to five years of related healthcare quality improvement experience. Masters’ Degree preferred.

  • The analytical skills to resolve complex problems requiring the use of scientific, mathematical, or technical principles and in‑depth, experienced‑based knowledge.

  • Significant knowledge and experience with Windows based software package Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint.

  • Worked in a pediatric clinical setting or with Epic, preferred.

  • The ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and provide empathy in difficult interpersonal situations. Work requires communication skills in order to persuade and negotiate with others on important matters.

  • The ability to work with diverse internal and external constituencies.
