Dana-Farber Cancer Institute Research Tech - Senior - Biffi Lab in Boston, Massachusetts

The laboratory of Dr Alessandra Biffi, Director of the Gene Therapy Program at Dana-Farber\Boston Children’s Cancer and Blood Disorders Center and of the Program for Cell and Gene Therapy in Rare Diseases, Boston Children’s Hospital, is looking for a motivated, energetic person who will collaborate with the PI and her team.

Specific duties will include, but are not limited to: protocol conductance and validation of assays, study analysis and data review. Specific skills and personal attributes required include: high energy multi-tasker, supremely organized with exquisite attention to detail, exemplary communication skills, computer and technology savvy, strong expertise in molecular and cellular biology, mice handling and viral vector production;

He/she will work on projects aimed at developing innovative gene therapy protocols for the treatment of lysosomal and neurodegenerative disorders with a highly motivated team.

  • Bachelor's Degree required with a major in biology or chemistry preferred.

  • Minimum of 2-4 years related experience.
