Job Description

The Team Leader role is a leadership position in Patient Care Services. Directs and provides developmentally appropriate nursing care to patients. Demonstrates a commitment to and performs in accordance with the philosophy, established policies, procedures, and standards of the Nursing Division and the Hospital. Acts as a role model to staff members, promoting excellence in patient care. Is able to effectively manage team work concept. Remains flexible in response to changes.

Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. BSN preferred. Current Massachusetts RN licensure.

5 + years of Level II or Level III Special Care Nursery Experience required. Demonstrated progression of leadership skills required as evidenced by past team leader experience, committee involvement, and preceptorship of staff. NRP and BLS required. Scheduled Hours 24 hours per week 12 hour night shifts. Every other weekend & holiday required.
